Polymers and Macromolecule Preparation and Properties
Generally macromolecules and polymers cannot be distinguished but, polymers are formed by repeating of structural units whereas in macromolecules, there may or may not be repetition of structural units.
It can be understood by taking an example of protein. Protein are macromolecules fo;med by the amino acids. Where amino acids are chemically same but structurally different. All polymers are macromolecules but all macromolecules a re not polymers.
